Globalization and information & communication revolution are some of the challenges that societies in the modern era face. Placing the contrived contents via Internet and popular social networks correlates with the presumed efficient ways to address young people. With an awareness of the benefits of the Internet, but also of potential dangers, the goal of this paper is to encourage future creative actions on catechization on the Internet, and in particular, the use of the Internet in the school system religious teaching. Three inspirational and motivating examples are provided: the YouTube channel ”Coffee with Sr. Vassa”, the Synodal Department for Church Relations with Society and Mass Media of the Russian Orthodox Church document ”Video blogs of the Russian Orthodox Church priests: the guidelines”, and Archimandrite Efrem’s presentation at the conference on Orthodox Christianity and Digital Media which was held in Athens in 2015.
