Abstract
Tendency of merging past and present studies of light with the events which will have implications on the future is presented in this paper. Relying on the rich tradition of light research, suitable topics were selected and classified into four sections: Early civilizations, Judeo-Christian civilization, Persons and Old Serbian literature. Previous interdisciplinary integration of science, culture and theology has been extended and brought into connection with the International Day of Light founded in 2017. This conjoint approach represents a potential for modern research, theory and practice, as well as for the presentation.
