The chemical industry has a great importance in implementation the sustainable development strategy. The environmental protection from different risks from the mining and metallurgical industry, in which the use of chemical is the basic precondition for production, is the primary goal in the EU and Serbia, also. The European Commission’s specific Chemical Strategy (Registration, Evaluation, and Authorization of Chemicals-REACH) legislation is the one among many of the most important environmental regulations.
