dc.description.abstract | Urbane sredine pokazuju značajno povišen nivo CO2 i čestičnih zagađivača koji su povezani sa gustom naseljenošću, saobraćajem i brojnim funkcijama grada. U posebno ugroženim mikrosredinama nije moguća primena standardnih načina ozelenjavanja, te su potrebna inovativna rešenja. Jedno takvo rešenje je primena foto-bioreaktorskih sistema sa mikroalgama. Ovo rešenje je zasnovano na eksploataciji visoke efikasnosti mikroalgi u vezivanju CO2 u odnosu na drveće i travnjake, proizvodnji O2 i biomase, kao i filtracije vazduha kroz vodeni stub. Međutim, biotehnološka komponenta iako ispunjava uslove za industrijske aplikacije, nije kompatibilna sa urbanom primenom, već zahteva multifunkcionalnost, estetiku i izdržljivost. Na primeru urbanog foto-bioreaktora LIQUID3 ovo je postignuto uklapanjem biotehnološke namene i urbanih funkcija - urbani mobilijar, solarni punjač i ulična rasveta, savremenim dizajnom, i adekvatnim konstruktivnim rešenjima. Održivost LIQUID3 sistema se postiže kroz pametno korišćenje urbanog prostora i kroz proizvodnju biomase koja se koristi kao fertilizator. Multidisciplinarni pristup u razvoju ovog alternativnog koncepta ozelenjavanja razvijenog i izvedenog u Srbiji, predstavlja osnovu njegove funkcionalnosti i vijabilnosti u urbanom prostoru. | sr |
dc.description.abstract | Urban environments show increased levels of CO2 and particulate matter that are related to population density, intensive traffic, and numerous municipal functions. Some urban microenvironments do not allow traditional greening and require innovative solutions, such as the use of photo-bioreactors with microalgae. This alternative concept of greening exploits high efficiency of microalgae in CO2 fixation and O2 and biomass production compared to trees and lawns, as well as the filtration of air through water column. Although biotechnological component of this concept meets the demands of industrial application, it is not per se compatible with the urban application that calls for multifunctionality, aesthetics and robustness. In line with this, urban photobioreactor LIQUID3 combines biotechnological application and urban functions – bench, USB solar charger, and nightlight, with contemporary design and construction. Sustainability of LIQUID3 is achieved through smart use of city space and the production of biomass that can be used as biofertilizer. Multidisciplinary approach in the development of alternative concepts of greening that was developed and implemented in Serbia, represents the basis of its functionality and viability in urban space. | sr |
