dc.description.abstract | The composite materials mixed with soft polymers present a new class of materials with specific electric, magnetic, and mechanical properties. Organic materials used as a polymer matrix in these composites possess low electrical conductivity, high chemical stability, and low processing temperature. Among the most common polymer matrices, PVDF and P(VDF-TrFE) are marked as an ideal candidates due to their piezoelectric and ferroelectric features. Review of selected examples of complex composites based on ferroics or multiferroics embedded in polymeric matrix is presented. | en |
